1. The Adventure Contract

By booking a quest, you’re joining the hunt! You represent that you are at least 16 years of age or have parental consent to participate. These terms are here to ensure a fair and fun experience for every team.


2. Rescheduling: Our "1-Hour" Promise

We know plans change, so we offer the most flexible rescheduling policy in the industry:

  1. Always Free: You can change your game date and time as many times as you like for free.
  2. The Deadline: Changes must be made via your "Manage My Booking" link at least one (1) hour before your scheduled start.
  3. The "Locked" Window: Within that final hour, our Game Engine begins preparing your specific adventure. Changes are no longer possible after this point, so please ensure your team is ready!

3. Playing via WhatsApp

  1. The Platform: The game is played exclusively on WhatsApp. You are responsible for ensuring your phone is charged and has an active data connection.
  2. Keep the Momentum: To keep the game flow smooth, we recommend completing your quest in one session. If you take a break longer than 24 hours, just send a message to the bot to "wake it up" and continue.
  3. Team Sync: The engine works best in 1-on-1 chats. Only the phone number used to book (and those who use the "Join" command) will receive clues.

4. Safety & Conduct

  1. Public Spaces: Our hunts take place in real-world, public areas. You must follow all traffic laws, pedestrian signals, and local regulations.
  2. At Your Own Risk: Participation is voluntary. Panda Treasure Quest is not responsible for any personal injury or loss of property during your adventure.
  3. Respect the City: You'll never need to enter private property or do anything dangerous. Please be respectful of locals and businesses while you hunt!

5. Privacy & Your Data (GDPR)

We value your privacy. We only collect the data necessary to run your game (like your phone number and team name). We are GDPR compliant and never sell your data. For full details, please see our [Privacy Policy].


6. Refund Policy

We put significant work into preparing each quest to ensure a high-quality experience. Because our spots are limited and the game content is delivered digitally:

  1. All bookings are final. We are unable to offer monetary refunds once a quest is purchased.
  2. Our Commitment: While we don't offer refunds, we are committed to making sure you get to play! That is why we allow unlimited free rescheduling up to an hour before your start time. We want you to enjoy the adventure, even if it has to be on a different day.


Restrictions on the Use of Services and Content

The services shall not be used in the following ways:

  1. Legal Compliance: In any way that violates local, national, or international laws, regulations, or court orders.
  2. Terms Adherence: For any purpose not explicitly permitted by these Terms.
  3. Rights Protection: To infringe upon the rights of any person or entity.
  4. Honesty in Communication: To advertise or communicate any false, deceptive, or misleading material.
  5. Conduct & Safety: To intentionally or unintentionally promote or incite racism, bigotry, hatred, or physical harm, or to harass, annoy, or threaten any other user.
  6. Appropriate Content: In any abusive, defamatory, inaccurate, or offensive way.
  7. Privacy: To post photographs or images of another person without their permission (or the permission of a legal guardian in the case of a minor).
  8. Unlawful Promotion: In any way promoting illegal or unlawful activities.
  9. System Integrity: To access or tamper with non-public areas of the Panda Treasure Quest systems, servers, equipment, or technical delivery systems.
  10. Data Security: To attempt to access data of other users or penetrate any security measures in place.
  11. Fraud Prevention: To intentionally or unintentionally deceive, defraud, or swindle any other user.
  12. Malicious Software: To introduce malware, viruses, or other harmful software programs.
  13. Service Interference: To interfere with the access of any user, host, or network—including via overloading, flooding, spamming, or mail-bombing.
  14. Content Rights: To copy, modify, or distribute another user’s Content without their express consent.
  15. Commercial Use: For commercial purposes except for those expressed within these Terms.
  16. Circumvention: Bypassing measures used to prevent or restrict access to the Services.
  17. Unlawful Services: To provide or facilitate unlawful services.
  18. Data Harvesting: To harvest or otherwise collect information about others without their consent.
  19. Unauthorized Access: To gain or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or the servers on which Panda Treasure Quest is stored.
  20. Header Forgery: To forge TCP/IP packet header information or use the Service to deceive others regarding the origin of content.
  21. Automated Tools: To scrape, crawl, or spider the Content or Service for phishing, spamming, trolling, or any other unauthorized purpose.
  22. Neutrality: In any way to promote or support involvement in any specific political platform, religion, cult, or sect.

Rights and Enforcement

Panda Treasure Quest reserves the right at all times (but has no obligation) to remove or refuse distribution of any Content or Services; this includes the termination of users or the reclaiming of usernames.

Panda Treasure Quest reserves the right to access, read, preserve, or disclose any information as it reasonably believes is necessary to:

  1. Satisfy any applicable laws, legal processes, regulations, or government requests.
  2. Enforce these Terms, including the investigation of potential violations.
  3. Detect, prevent, or address fraud, security, or technical issues.
  4. Respond to user support requests.
  5. Protect the rights, property, or safety of Panda Treasure Quest, its users, and the public.
